My passion for formulating rooted from a family of handcrafted entrepreneurs. Hula Hippie desires to bring out your spontaneity and inner wild child.
I have formulated with a soy vegetable blended wax to achieve a paraffin scent throw with the Eco-friendly benefits of soy. Initially Hula Hippie name was dreamt up on the beautiful beaches of Oahu. I found myself packing up my entire business and what little belongings I had into my coupe and headed from Arkansas to the sunny west coast in the middle of the night. Where I now hand-pour all Hula Hippie Products in San Diego, California in fresh, small batches. Hula Hippie has made its local debut at the La Jolla Open Aire Market every Sunday.
Creating a customer experience is without question, the most important part of any business. Getting the chance to show customers the value your brand, company, or service has to offer is the most rewarding part of serving the public.
As a 2nd generation crafter I have had the honor of apprenticing several, successful “from scratch” family based brands first hand. From doing so i’ve learned the common factor in their success is making the customer experience priority.
